The Center for Family Building was founded in 2015 by Lisa Schuman, LCSW. With more than two decades of personal and professional experience in fertility treatment, donor conception, adoption and evidence-based parenting techniques, Lisa knows how confusing and exhausting this journey can be – because she’s been there too.
Lisa is an experienced licensed therapist and Director of Mental Health Services for Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut and Gay Parents to Be. She is also a consultant for schools, corporations and community groups and has been called upon as a surrogacy expert for the New York State judiciary committee.
