The TIP TOP Workshop Interactive Program for Donor Conceived Children and Their Parents

Children will learn:

  • That they are not alone and will be supported by, and learn with children who have had similar experiences
  • To better understand their temperament and how to honor their feelings
  • How to, or not to, talk to the outside world about their donor conception story so they will feel better prepared to manage difficult conversations

Parents will learn:

  • From program staff with decades of experience who will teach them research-based information about donor conception and disclosure
  • From other families who have had similar experiences and can be supportive
  • How to be their children’s allies in their self-discovery and build a bond with their child for future conversations about their origins
